PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko (Persero) (PT TWC), also known as InJourney Destination Management (IDM), commemorated its 46th anniversary with the theme "From Us, For Us, For the Nation ." This theme reflects the company's journey over more than four decades in building culturally-preserved tourist destinations through a spirit of togetherness, collaboration, and community benefit.
Carrying this spirit, the series of commemorations for PT TWC's 46th anniversary is not only a momentum to celebrate the company's journey, but also a manifestation of PT TWC's commitment to continue to bring social, cultural, and economic impacts to the community, in line with the company's transformation as a manager of sustainable cultural heritage-based tourism destinations.
President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero) Febrina Intan said that the theme "From Us, For Us, For the Nation" is a reminder that every step taken by the company begins with the contribution of all company employees and ultimately must provide broader benefits for the nation.
"Forty-six years is not just a passage of time, but a journey of building shared values. Through the theme 'From Us, For Us, For the Nation,' we want to emphasize that the company's greatest strength stems from the collaboration of all PT TWC employees, partners, the community, and all stakeholders. It is from this spirit of togetherness that we continue to provide benefits to the community, preserve cultural heritage, and encourage the growth of quality and sustainable Indonesian tourism," he explained.
Social Action
As we enter our 46th year, PT TWC believes that true success lies not only in how far a company grows, but also in how much benefit it can leave behind for the community and the nation. From the passion born from every employee at the company, hope, collaboration, and empowerment grow, and they will continue to flow from us, for us, and for the nation.
Carrying the theme "From Us, For Us, For the Nation," the commemoration of the 46th Anniversary of Empowerment, Celebrating the Journey and Meaning reflects the company's long journey in building shared values among all company employees, the community, and stakeholders. As a concrete manifestation of this spirit, the series of PT TWC's 46th Anniversary is filled with various social programs that directly touch the lives of the community and the extended company family.
The company's commitment to providing benefits to the community was realized through the inauguration of two habitable homes in the Borobudur area. The two homes being built are Mukodin's house in Ngaran I Hamlet, Borobudur, and Hariyono's house in Bogowanti Kidul Hamlet, Borobudur, Magelang. This program is part of the company's efforts to improve the community's quality of life by providing safe, healthy, and decent housing, while also strengthening harmonious relationships between the tourist destination and the surrounding community.
"Our commitment to sustainability focuses not only on preserving the temple's physical appearance, but also on strengthening the Sustainable Tourism Ecosystem. For us, the success of a tourist destination is measured by the positive impact it has on the residents living nearby," he explained.
PT TWC through its InJourney Community Care program distributed 46 goats to eight villages in Prambanan District, Klaten, Central Java, Prambanan District and Kalasan District, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The eight villages include Tlogo Village, Bugisan Village, Kokosan Village, Kebondalem Kidul Village, Pereng Village in Prambanan District, Klaten, Central Java. Bokoharjo Village, Sambirejo Village in Prambanan District, Sleman and Tamanmartani Village in Kalasan, Sleman, DI Yogyakarta. The handover is part of the support for the development of goat farming businesses in villages located in the Prambanan Temple area.
PT TWC will award Bhakti Budaya Scholarships to 46 children of employees who pass academic and non-academic selection. This second year of the program is a way of recognizing the dedication of those on the front lines who have maintained the quality of service and the sustainability of the destination area. Through these scholarships, the company aims to provide broader opportunities for local youth to obtain a better education to prepare them for their future.
In the humanitarian field, PT TWC, in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and Dompet Dhuafa, held a blood donation drive titled "A Drop of Meaning, a Million Hopes," involving all company employees. This activity not only symbolized concern for others but also encouraged every employee to participate in this simple yet meaningful humanitarian act for those in need. Every drop of blood donated represents the spirit of mutual cooperation, solidarity, and humanitarian values that the company continues to uphold.
"We believe that empowerment is not only measured by business success or the number of visitors to a destination, but also by the amount of benefit we can provide to others. When children have access to better education, communities have more livable homes, and humanitarian actions save lives, that's where a company's journey finds true meaning," he explained.
The series of 46th anniversary of PT TWC will begin on July 14, 2026 with the activity "Connecting the Trail, Continuing the Meaning", namely a pilgrimage to the grave of the first President Director of PT TWC, the late Mr. Boediardjo, as a form of respect for his dedication and struggle which has laid the foundation of the company to become one of the leading managers of cultural heritage destinations in Indonesia.
