Ultra Charity Wonderful Borobudur, Donating 20.000 Relief Storybooks of Borobudur Temple for Borobudur Tourism Activists
Borobudur Temple is a vast library, containing a wealth of knowledge and life lessons carved into its wall reliefs. This wealth of knowledge and values should be effectively conveyed to the public and visitors to the Borobudur Temple Park.
Handaka Vijjānanda is the author of a cultural education book that tells the story of 20 heroes of virtue in the reliefs of Borobudur Temple, based on the Tripitaka book, decorated with 588 photos of reliefs and beautiful paintings from national illustrators.
Handaka Vijjānanda and his son, William Sidharta, distributed 20.000 copies of the Borobudur Relief Storybook to tourism activists in the Borobudur Temple area. As part of this activity, William Sidharta ran the 50-kilometer Solo Ultra Marathon, performing a Pradaksina (circling to the right) run on the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park track on October 25, 2021.
"William is conducting this Ultra Charity Wonderful Borobudur initiative to raise funds online to distribute 20.000 copies of the Borobudur Relief Story to tourism activists in the Borobudur Temple area. We sincerely hope that the books we are distributing will benefit the community and advance Borobudur tourism. May all go well," said Handaka Vijjānanda.
