To commemorate the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, IDM held a flag ceremony and independence day competitions.

Hundreds of InJourney Destination Management staff participated in a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the IDM Headquarters in Sleman, Yogyakarta, on Monday (August 17, 2026). Participants wore a diverse array of traditional Indonesian attire and followed the ceremony in an orderly and solemn manner until its conclusion.

InJourney Destination Management President Director Febrina Intan, who acted directly as the ceremony instructor, in her direction said she invited all IDM personnel to reflect on the footsteps of their ancestors who built great masterpieces such as Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko Palace.

He advised the participants to participate in preserving the spirit of their ancestors until today, starting from spiritual values, harmony, to resilience that has transcended the ages.

"It's not just a historical legacy or a cultural escalation. This is concrete evidence that the Indonesian nation was born from a sovereign spirit, a just order, and a prosperous civilization," he explained.

Still in celebration of the spirit of the 81st Indonesian Independence Day, IDM held a Nusantara Traditional Costume Parade, attended by all IDM employees. This event showcased the diversity and richness of Nusantara culture and served as an employee engagement activity.

The celebrations continued with various typical 17th-anniversary competitions for all participants. Participants were divided into several teams and took turns competing.

The games included clogs, sack races, pair-up cracker eating, and ball-picking. This series of competitions successfully served as a platform for strengthening employee camaraderie and rekindling the values of mutual cooperation and fighting spirit.

"On this Independence Day, let's rekindle our spirit, because Indonesia's future greatness lies in our hands. Indonesia is sovereign, just, and prosperous," concluded Febrina Intan.
